Pet Sitter Plus was formed in January 2009 with the sole purpose of building a better software service for pet sitters around the world.
Pet Sitter Plus is suitable for any size pet sitting business from the very small to the very large and today we create the schedules for thousands of dog walkers and pet sitters based predominantly in the USA, UK, Australia, UAE and New Zealand. We also support a growing number of dog daycare centres.
Where are we based?
Pet Sitter Plus sales and support staff are based in the USA and UK which means that most of the time our clients residing in those countries receive local product support and coaching from a software specialist based in their country.

In addition to this, most of our sales & support team are still actively running pet sitting businesses which means that the person who coaches you will understand your language and industry. It also helps us to ensure that Pet Sitter Plus is uniquely suited to the industry it serves.
Our customer service is rated "outstanding" by our clients who receive expert one to one coaching free of charge until every question has been answered. All support is provided either by phone or by Skype.

Coming from a technical background, Richard has spent most of his career in IT related sales and management roles. Prior to launching Pet Sitter Plus in 2009, Richard worked in new business development in the legal IT sector and held a variety of roles in larger corporations including IBM.
Taking a sabbatical in 2006, Richard worked alongside his wife Jackie in their pet services company where he developed a keen understanding of the requirements of the pet sitting industry, but he also really enjoyed being "hands on" as a pet sitter / dog walker for 4 years.
Richard is CEO of Pet Sitter Plus and has the responsibility for all aspects of running the business but he still works as PSP software coach covering the USA and UK

Jackie’s early business life was spent in a variety of marketing roles in the corporate IT sector.
In 2006, Jackie started a pet services company and with that came an understanding of the requirements of the pet sitting industry. It was the need for a solution to the admin challenges of the industry that lead to the creation og Pet Sitter Plus in 2009.
Still managing Dog Days today, Jackie is a valued consultant for the Pet Sitter Plus team providing product testing input and support.
Jackie also provides sales support for new clients of Pet Sitter Plus based in the UK and USA.
Martyn is first and foremost an accomplished technologist who has developed an advanced suite of technologies and development methods that produce more efficient, scalable and reliable solutions than traditional approaches.
With a track record of delivering large scale projects for blue chip corporates, Martyn is the architect and chief technical designer of Pet Sitter Plus.
Rollo Clarke is educated to degree level in Mathematics. Shortly after graduating from the University of Warwick he started working for Martyn as a developer and today, he is a key member of the development team.
Rollo is responsible for delivering a large proportion of the code behind Pet Sitter Plus and in his spare time he is also a talented composer and musician.

Based in St. Augustine, FL USA, Becky operated a busy pet sitting business in NE Florida for over 17 years, managing a team of more than 35 staff.
With an MBA concentrated in Financial Management, Becky is experienced in all aspects of small business from start-up, to strategic planning and operations, to exit strategies. She founded three small businesses, navigated the purchase of a fourth, and successfully sold two businesses. She has also worked in the Finance & Accounting industry for three large investment firms and a CPA, specializing in personal and business financial planning.
After implementing Pet Sitter Plus for her pet care business in early 2014, Becky saved so much time that she found herself searching for her next big challenge. Impressed with her experience of dealing with the team at Pet Sitter Plus, she offered to join the company and we were delighted she did!
Today, Becky consults with small businesses based in the USA and Canada, and helps them implement Pet Sitter Plus. She also supports our growing client-base and team with Billing, Admin, and HR/Recruitment.

Marianne spent over 4 years working as a pet sitting business manager for one of the largest pet sitting businesses based in Oakland CA. During her tenure the business grew from 8 to 25 pet care professionals in just 5 years with revenue growth to match.
Responsible for selecting the next generation pet sitting software product, Marianne says that Pet Sitter Plus improved the efficiency of the business to such an extent that huge growth became possible when at the same time overall costs were slashed.
With an impressive educational and career history, Marianne lives in Pleasant Hill CA where she looks after her young daughter. Today, Marianne's role is to coach businesses in the USA and Australia as a software coach for Pet Sitter Plus, whilst also helping on the support desk with our growing community worldwide.
Lesley first set up her pet sitting business in April 2009 and decided to implement Pet Sitter Plus almost immediately. Lesley's business quickly grew to over 20 staff and today she still enjoys managing her busy team and successful
Lesley has now automated much of the day to day administrative functions of her business and today she uses her spare time to coach other pet sitters in using Pet Sitter Plus.
Lesley says that becoming a Pet Sitter Plus Software Coach has been a great move for her as it has allowed her to use all the skills and experience she has built up over the years to help other people which she says is hugely rewarding.

With 20 years of marketing, operations, software, publishing and pet sitting consulting experience, Angela comes to Pet Sitter Plus with a diverse background of experience. In the years leading up to her joining Pet Sitter Plus, Angela was owner and publisher of two US-based dog and pet magazines, consulted for some of the largest pet care companies in the US, worked in the marketing and training departments for a statistical software company and aided in marketing and operations oversight for many service-based organizations.
Having worked with Pet Sitter Plus in the past, with outstanding results and experiences, Angela felt the exciting opportunity to join PSP was the perfect fit for her experiences. She joined the team in 2019 and has been enjoying the role of Software Coach and Support Analyst since day one.
Angela is based in Alexandria, VA, just outside of Washington, DC. Her enthusiasm for pets started as a child and continues today. In the evenings and on weekends, you’ll often find her on hikes or playing sports with her 3 children. When they are not out and about, they share their home with family pets Maggie the wonder dog, Precious the sassy cat and guinea pig, Danger, but he's the exact opposite of his namesake.
Marketing Manager & Support Analyst
Lyndsay has always worked in a technical field and in particular has specialist skills in marketing, graphic and web design. Before joining Pet Sitter Plus she ran a successful part-time business helping small businesses to create a presence on the internet.
After several years helping a friend to run her mid-sized pet sitting business, Lyndsay came across Pet Sitter Plus on the internet and set about implementing it. She immediately fell in love with both the solution and the company behind it.
For the last few years, Lyndsay has been a support analyst working for Pet Sitter Plus but she still helps out her friend from time to time as it keeps her up to speed with the daily tasks of running a pet sitting, home boarding and dog training business. She has took on the role of Marketing Manager and assists Richard to implement strategies across all media to better support the software coaches.
Lyndsay lives in the UK and provides support to Pet Sitter Plus customers worldwide.
